Compagnie Oredans is known for its artistic approach, bridging the gap between tradition and contemporaneity. Founded in 2009 by Shérane Figaro, its mission is to create choreographic works rooted in the language of ancestral Haitian dance. Guided by this vision, the company has presented such landmark works as YANI, Si Toto m'était dansée, SEZAM and Kripté. Each creation offers a profound reflection on the cultural and symbolic structures of these traditions, reinventing them from a contemporary perspective.
MEANING BEHIND THE LOGO

Under the name “Aurée Danse-Création”, the symbolism of the logo is a personalization of the first word constituting the company name ORE. The circular shape represents the O, and the abstract shape preceding it is the letter R and E in cursive. The logo's stylization is evocative of Haitian vèvè, with its slightly refined, handwritten strokes. The logo as a whole is an abstract form reminiscent of dance movements performed on the floor by an individual.
